Class: Open Level Latin Fusion (Heels) Description: Date: Friday February 23, 2024 Time: 7:00-9:00pm Location: Xing Dance Theatre 70 Huron St, Toronto Latin Fusion: Latin fusion heels infuses traditional Latin styles with contemporary choreography, performed in high heels. It can merge genres such as salsa, bachata, samba, tango, and reggaeton with modern techniques, adding sophistication and sensuality. Dancers showcase rhythmic footwork and sensual movements, emphasizing lines and shapes. This genre celebrates Latin culture while offering a platform for self-expression and individual style. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS: Stef is a passionate teacher with over 10 years of industry experience. She has worked with with many reputable artists in the Latin and Caribbean markets including: Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Machel Montano, Sean Paul, Pitbull, and more. She is excited to share her knowledge and experiences through workshops and classes both locally and internationally. Mahta has danced for the NBA Toronto Raptors for several years and has since acquired experience in different styles, such as, salsa, bachata, heels, hip hop, jazz funk and belly dance. She truly loves sharing her skills and passion with other dancers, which led her to start Dipp Dance in 2017. Mahta is the Founder/Artistic Director of Dipp Dance, a Kelowna based company for adults, that focuses on Latin Fusion/heels.
